Where to use buckets? Buckets are used for various equipment, mainly in construction, mining and quarries:
- Track Excavators
- Wheel Excavators
- Track Loaders
- Wheel Loaders
- Backhoe Loaders
- Dragline operations
The most frequent vehicles are track excavators and wheel loaders.

Three main types
There are three main types of buckets:
| Excavator buckets | For excavators and back bucket of backhoe loaders. |
| Loader buckets | For loaders and front bucket of backhoe loaders. |
| Dragline buckets | For dragline operations. |
The function of a bucket is very much connected to the vehicle:
Excavator buckets are mainly used for digging, predominately in the ground but also to bend and break stronger and more abrasive material. The large excavators are mainly used in production units, the small ones are more mobile and are mainly used in various construction works.
Loader buckets are mainly used to fill material at the ground level and to transport it. The loader buckets are used for a wide range of loads, from fine particle and low density material as grains, to heavy particle and high density material as blast stone.
Drag line buckets are mainly used in large open pit mines of coal and ground resources as peat and sand.
